PTFE is practically inert, does not react with other chemical substances except in very special occasions. It is also the material with the lowest friction coefficient giving it an exceptional non adherence. Its average mechanical resistance is increased by means of fillers such as glass, mineral salts ( VX1), carbon/graphite, stainless steel, bronze, molybdenum disulphide etc, depending on which specific property you need to enhance.

Thermal resistance: excellent performance from -200 ºC a +260 ºC.

Non toxic: inert material apt for medical, pharmaceutical and foodstuff applications. Can comply to FDA, BgVV, and USP Class VI standards.

Non porous: non adherent to most materials and adhesives, water resistant, asures a perfect impermeability, with one of the lowest friction coefficients (0,01 the nearest to ice).

Dielectric: a great electric isolator, its dielectric constant is 2.1 and its dissipation factor 0,0002.

Weather resistance: has an excellent resistance to any climatic conditions, ozone and UV radiation.

Chemical resistance: resistant to most chemical products, fats and solvents.
