One more year MEREFSA has sponsored the Rally driver Manel Miro Farreras in his participation in the Intercontinental Rally 2017. A race that recovers the spirit of adventure that characterized the old Paris-Dakar. It runs through 4 countries and 2 continents in 14 hard days traveling more than 6000 km from its departure in Almeria by the endless dunes of the Sahara, the desolate of the coastal deserts, the rocky trails of the Atlas until the arrival in the famous Pink Lake in Dakar.
The challenge of our driver has been to participate in this demanding race a board of a Honda XL 600 motorcycle with more than 30 years old, achieving to arrive at the Pink Lake, goal accomplished with success, finishing the race in the first position of his category and twelfth in the general table.
For us, it is a great pride and a pleasure to have been able to participate through our friend Manel in this adventure and we hope to be able to repeat the experience.
MEREFSA, sensitive to social needs, is committed to cultural events whose concern lies in the professional future of our youth and this year participates as a sponsor in the sixth edition of the Tortosa English Festival.
There's nothing better to share the successes achieved through teamwork and everyone's efforts than to get together for a good meal. Thanks to Santi Pelejà, we were able to enjoy a complete menu. First, a small aperitif to open the appetite, followed by a starter of succulent "Baldanes amb sanfaina", then the main course of "Arros de muntaña" with the best ingredients from Terres de l'Ebre and to finish some pastries from Tortosa that were the best possible Easter dessert. Without forgetting, of course, the spirits of Montsant wines that irrigated this excellent event.
Susanna Fritscher presents her new exhibition in the Patio of the Museum of Nantes where she reimagines a new space in which the visitor interacts with the surroundings thanks to the materials and the work of MEREFSA
